Men and women alike need to wear appropriate clothes for various events and occasions. Such clothes need to be paired with the right foot wear and accessories for a completely stunning look. The term semi formal usually refers to a blend of fashion trends from both formal and casual world. Such types of clothes cannot be completely considered as formal wear and are neither completely casual. In a sense, semi formal attire pertains to a combination of modern, chic and elegant wear.

Fashion-wise, semi-formal attire for men usually refers to men's suit and typically includes blazers and sports coats. These types of clothes vary in color, styles and designs and are generally used in various occasions. Double breasted suit vest are perfect for semi formal weddings. Dark colored business suits such as those in dark gray, navy blue and charcoal shades are excellent for business special business meetings and corporate events. Light colored ones are perfect alternatives for evening socializations while white-colored coats are best options for the events and gatherings held in the summer.

Complete your semi formal look with the right pair of shoes. Do not ever wear a pair of casual shoes and sneakers when wearing semi-formal attire. Instead, use a pair of dark colored leather shoes and pair of socks that matches the color of your suit.
