One of the great experiences in life is seeing the world riding on the back of a motorcycle. This means you can smell the freshly cut hay while riding down the road alongside a hay field. A rain suit can become one of your best friends, a piece of gear you take wherever you ride. Rain suits come in either one or two piece suits. When choosing a rain suit, choose as brightly colored a suit as you can. Rain creates a low visibility situation, so it is especially important to wear gear that can be easily seen. These suits are essential pieces of riding gear, and are made of PVC, coated nylon, or Gore-Tex Cordura. Some people prefer one piece rain suits over the two piece because the rain can seep in between the pants and the jacket. Wearing a rain suit will prevent you from spending a miserable day drenched, worrying about hypothermia setting in.

Another piece of riding gear is gloves. Usually the first instinct of anyone when they fall off of something is to put their hands out to ease the fall. Falling while on roller blades or a bicycle is one thing, but fall off of a motorcycle at high speeds and a rider will lose some skin. Wearing gloves will prevent this from happening. They will also keep a rider's hands warm when riding in the rain, or in cold weather. Some gloves come with small pieces of armor that will even more fully protect a rider's hands in case of coming off of their bike.
