Scout Patches Celebrate Scouting Achievements of Boys And Girls

What can be said about scout patches that hasn't already been said? After all, it's well known that Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Brownies nationwide cherish their Scout patches as hard-won symbols of accomplishment.

And it's no wonder. Scouts are part of worldwide organizations dedicated to the ideals of personal fitness, citizenship training and character development. Scouting organizations use Scout patches to recognize and celebrate achievements. From the youngest Scouts to their adult leaders, Scout patches or merit badges mean the person wearing them has achieved a milestone worthy of celebration.

The history of Scout patches in the Boy Scouts of America dates back to the founding of the organization.
