Ever wondered why Italian fashion is so popular around the world—like sooooo much!? It’s their distinct personality: told by their history.

Italian fashion was given a boom during the 11th century as artisans dominated the Italian culture. It wasn’t long enough that clothing became the very distinction of one’s social status. The rich—powerful and ever bountiful as they are—were very much into their looks that they spent so much on fabrics for their clothing alone.  It was only when gothic fashion made an entrance from the English that Italian fashion mellowed down.               It took some time before the fashion in Italy redeemed itself—this time entering globally, thanks to Count Giorgini.

The year was 1951. Count Giorgini organized a fashion show were noble men and women modeled. His guests were composed of business men and journalists from all over the world. The fashion show opened people’s eyes to the fact that being graced by beautiful clothes is not just for the rich. Sooner or later theirs was the biggest boom in fashion history. And as years pass by it became more and more famous.

From their casual linen wears for summer to those classy formal wool tuxedos (uhuh! Especially those Bond-ish wool tuxedos), Italian brands were more than just the cuts and styles. Their fabrics are the best world-wide (Yeah the linens especially the wool). They are at the top of the textile trade. This fact placed Italian fashion at the pedestals.

Beauty is the definition of Italy—no wonder Italian Fashion was the best.
